The sea around me

The sea around me

Waves of hands, they’re breaking, billions,

-crashing, hypnotizing, free.

-Seduced within their undulations.

-lose themselves within this sea.

It moistens people fawning beaches,

-clobbers those who lay in sand.

Then people turn into these leaches,

-loosing those when far from land.

These waves of hands, they grab the many,

Gagging, choking, out to sea,

Yet, going through the ocean’s motions

Thinking that’s where they should be.

These hands appear caressing, loving.

-Softly pressed against our skin.

-and years go bye, as we feel safety,

Time leaves nothing.

launch again.
