Poetry

Beside everyone

At times the things, within, I feel,

the faces shown, they aren’t real.

They keep me on my toes at night,

I'm aware I know them, not

The things I know, my brain is rot.

I do my part to love this sphere,

...remain resigned to stay in here.

This sanity lags, as I hide from this swarm

For the course of my day is the same as the night.

They are outside this wall, they can live in the norm.

My freedom is gone, there is, inside, a fright.

It’s smaller about. It’s larger within.

I take this stranger for a spin

You call to me, lie to me, try to be, cry and see

Loving thee, dubbing you, stubbing through,

tugging true, Living life, killing strife, till the days,

packed I lie, stacked, I try, but I’m always hiding from within.
